What does your company actually need?
Seventeen questions about your licence, your volumes and where you stand on filings. At the end you get a recommended package with an indicative monthly fee, your real filing deadlines worked out from your own financial year, and a list of anything that looks overdue.
- No contact details needed to see your result
- Deadlines calculated from your financial year end, not generic
- Indicative fee based on your actual entry volume
General information, not advice on your circumstances. Nothing is sent to us until you ask for the written report.
Step 1 of 6
Your company
Six details from your trade licence.
Where is your company incorporated?
When was your trade licence first issued?
Used to work out your registration deadlines and how many years of records may be outstanding.
How many partners or shareholders?
Names on the licence, not staff. It affects the UBO register and how the profit split is recorded.
Which month does your financial year end in?
This sets your corporate tax filing date, which falls nine months after your year end.
What does the business do?
Some activities carry AML obligations that others do not.
Upload your trade licence
Optional. It lets us confirm the details above and quote more precisely.
Step 2 of 6
Size of the business
Three questions. Rough figures are fine.
Annual turnover, roughly?
This decides your VAT position, your tax band and whether an audit is required.
How many people are on the payroll?
Anyone paid a salary through the company, including the owner if salaried.
How many business bank accounts?
Count every account and card that needs reconciling, in any currency.
Step 3 of 6
Monthly volume
This is what actually sets the fee. Estimate if you need to.
Sales invoices you issue per month
Supplier bills and expense receipts per month
Everything you pay out against a document — suppliers, rent, utilities, staff claims.
Do you hold stock?
Physical goods that need counting and valuing at year end.
Step 4 of 6
Where you stand
Straight answers here save time later. “Not sure” is a valid answer.
Are you registered for corporate tax?
Registration is mandatory for every taxable person, including free zone companies and businesses making a loss.
Are you registered for VAT?
How current are your books?
The single biggest driver of set-up cost. Being behind is normal and fixable.
What are the books kept in today?
Step 5 of 6
One last thing
It tells us how quickly this needs to move.
What is prompting this now?
Your result
Here is where you stand
Set-up and one-off work
Quoted separately from the monthly fee, and only what your answers indicate you actually need.
Your deadlines
Worked out from your financial year end and turnover band.
What we would look at first
Get this as a written report
We will send the full assessment, a fixed-fee proposal, and a checklist of what we need to start. A senior advisor reviews it before it goes out — usually within one business day.
Figures are indicative, based on the volumes you entered and exclusive of 5% VAT. Deadlines assume calendar-quarter VAT periods. Your final scope and fee are confirmed in writing after we see your records.
About this assessment
How the result is worked out
How accurate is the fee?
The monthly figure is the published price for the tier your volume falls into, so it is accurate for a business that matches what you entered. One-off costs are our standard rates for that work. What moves the number afterwards is usually volume that turns out higher than estimated, or records in worse condition than expected — both of which we confirm before you sign anything.
How do you calculate my entry count?
Sales invoices plus supplier bills and expense receipts, plus around twenty other movements per bank account each month — transfers, fees, salary payments and cash. That total is what determines which tier you fall into. One entry is one line in your bank statement, or one sales or purchase invoice.
I was incorporated last year. Do the annual plans apply to me?
If your trade licence was issued within the last two years, yes — and the assessment will show you the annual plan alongside the monthly package, with both twelve-month totals, so you can see which is cheaper on your own volumes. The annual allowance is for the whole year, not per month.
Are the deadlines specific to me?
The corporate tax date is calculated from the financial year end you selected, nine months after your own year end rather than a generic date. VAT assumes calendar quarters, which is standard unless the FTA has assigned you monthly periods. Free zone audit dates use your zone's own rule where we know it.
Do I have to give my contact details?
No. The result appears in full without them. Details are only needed if you want the written report and a fixed-fee proposal.
What happens to my trade licence if I upload it?
It is attached to your enquiry and reviewed by the advisor preparing your proposal. It is optional throughout — the assessment works without it.
Is this tax advice?
No. It is a scoping tool based on the answers you gave, and it does not know your full circumstances. Anything material should be confirmed with our team before you act on it.
